Applications in Sports

How Athletes Benefit from the Application

Here, we describe how the application is integrated into a daily training routine. The chambers are not medical devices and are not intended for the treatment of diseases.

Consistent Recovery Routine

Many athletes schedule their sessions in the hours following intense training or competitions, repeating them on a consistent weekly basis.

Dense competition schedules

Travel, time zones, and short nights are part of the athletic routine. Having your own chamber ensures sessions can be scheduled reliably, independent of appointments and operating hours.

Resuming after a pause

After extended breaks from training, many incorporate hyperbaric sessions alongside rebuilding their fitness routine. This does not replace medical care.

A restorative pause in your day

Time inside the chamber is free from screens and interruptions. Some use it to read, others to listen to audio, and many simply to unwind.

Foundation

Why Pressure Makes the Difference

Under normal atmospheric pressure, blood transports oxygen almost exclusively bound to red blood cells. When ambient pressure increases, additional oxygen dissolves physically into the blood plasma. This is a purely physical relationship described by Henry's Law.

The specific implications of this for training, recovery, and performance are currently subject to scientific research. Conclusive, evidence-based findings for healthy, athletic individuals are still pending. That is precisely why we collaborate with sports medicine specialists and pay close attention to feedback from athletes.

Dremenia chambers are not medical devices within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745. They are not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, monitoring, prediction, prognosis, treatment, or alleviation of disease.

Process

The Treatment Process

From your initial consultation to independent use at home. We will guide you through the entire process step by step, allowing you to operate the chamber on your own with complete confidence.

01

Initial Consultation

We clarify your goals, your daily training routine, and whether a medical consultation is advisable. Based on this, we determine which chamber and protocol are best suited to your needs.

02

Assembly and Briefing

You will become familiar with the setup, operation, and safety routines until you can confidently operate the chamber on your own. The portable models are ready for use in just a few minutes.

03

Compression

Pressure is increased gradually. During this phase, you will equalize the pressure in your ears, just as you would during an airplane's descent.

04

Application Phase

You remain comfortably seated or reclined while breathing through the mask. The duration and frequency depend on your specific protocol.

05

Decompression

The pressure is depressurized in a controlled manner. Afterwards, you can return directly to your day with no downtime required.

Good to know

You will remain conscious and responsive throughout the entire session.

Glasses, books, or headphones may be brought inside.

Maintenance and service are provided directly from Haiger, backed by up to a 10-year warranty, depending on your selected service package.

Target Groups

Target Audience

Whether in competitive athletics or everyday fitness, the starting point is almost always the same: too little time for recovery, and too much depending on it.

Runner on a track

Competitive Sports

Demanding competition schedules, high training volumes, and zero tolerance for downtime. The sessions are fully integrated into the weekly routine.

Swimmer in the pool

Dedicated Enthusiasts

Marathons, triathlons, strength training. Balancing workouts with professional and family commitments, leaving very limited time for recovery.

Cyclist in the Morning Light

Active Over 30

Staying fit rather than chasing personal bests, with a clear focus on the decades ahead. This is precisely the group our projects are centered around.

Research

Competitive athletes provide us with the most honest feedback

In competitive sports, every minor biological optimization counts. A decline in performance is noticed much more quickly and can mark the end of a career. Competitive athletes are our role models and provide us with vital feedback on how our systems perform in healthy individuals.

We look forward to supporting your health goals and providing you with the methods and tools needed to take an active and autonomous role in your well-being.

Measurement Data Evaluation

Project “Munich Even Fitter!”

In collaboration with the Sports Cardiology Department in Munich, we are planning the "Munich Even Fitter!" project. This study evaluates the effect of hyperbaric oxygenation on healthy, athletic individuals over 30.

The project is currently in the planning stage. Results are not yet available; we will publish them here as soon as they have been evaluated.

Selection

Which chamber aligns with your training protocol

For home use, for the studio, or for your practice. Together, we evaluate your available space, your intended frequency of use, and whether others will also be utilizing the chamber.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions from Athletes

How often are the sessions used?

This depends on your specific goals and training schedule. Many clients incorporate sessions into a structured weekly routine. In our protocol consultation, we will determine the regimen that best suits your needs.

Can I operate the chamber on my own?

Yes. Following comprehensive training, you can operate the mobile chambers independently without requiring a second person. Pressurization and depressurization are precisely controlled.

What does the pressure feel like?

Similar to the descent in an aircraft. During the compression phase, you simply equalize the pressure in your ears; afterward, the pressure is barely noticeable.

Do I need medical clearance?

We recommend discussing use with your physician, particularly if you have pre-existing health conditions. The chambers are not medical devices and do not substitute for professional medical care.

Does a chamber fit into a standard apartment?

The portable Homecare chamber measures 2,200 × 850 × 850 mm and weighs 13 kg. It can be set up in just a few minutes and easily stowed away afterwards. The Comfort chamber, designed for seated use, requires 1,650 × 1,200 × 1,400 mm.

Can I test it in advance?

Yes. You can experience a session at your leisure at our locations before deciding on a chamber.
